Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF)
A biomaterial derived from a patient’s own blood that is rich in platelets, leukocytes, fibrin, and growth factors.
Blood is drawn from the patient, spun in a centrifuge to separate the components, and then allowed to clot into a fibrin matrix without the use of anticoagulants.
